I am honored to be given the opportunity to serve as FACC President. It is my greatest hope that I will represent you all in a manner that exemplifies the character and integrity of the profession. The role of the Municipal Clerk is complex, with many responsibilities that vary from city to town to village. We are public servants stiving to balance the ever-changing climate of local government, new legislation that changes the rules that apply to our duties, new innovations and technology like AI that changes how we perform our tasks and striving to set aside time for continuing our professional and educational development while also coping with what life may bring that impacts our personal lives. Florida Certified Professional Clerk (FCPC) Certification ProgramThe John Scott Dailey Florida Institute of Government’s mission at Florida State University is to enhance Florida government’s capacity to effectively serve their communities through education and training, applied research, and public service. In partnership with the Florida Association of City Clerks (FACC), we are pleased to accept participant applications for the next cohort of the Florida Certified Professional Clerk Program (FCPC). Join the ranks of other Florida Certified Professional Clerk (FCPC) graduates! The program will be offered February 2026—October 2026.
