Nominating Committee Timelines


June

  • Attend FACC Annual Board Orientation Luncheon meeting held at the end of the annual Summer Conference and Academy for incoming Board Members and Committee Chairs.
  • Prepare and submit Friday Email article, if needed.
  
July
  • Notify committee members of appointments.
  • Organizational meeting of committee to review goals and establish timeline.

August
  • Send notice to membership that nominations for elections will be accepted no later than 70 days prior to the annual Summer Conference and Academy.

September
  • Prepare and submit agenda item for October meeting.
  • Prepare and submit Friday Email article, if needed.

October
  • Attend FACC Board meeting.

January
  • Prepare and submit agenda item.
  • Attend FACC Board meeting.

March
  • Nominations for elections close 70 days prior to annual Summer Conference and Academy.
  • Committee reviews qualifications.
  • Prepare and submit agenda item for April meeting.
  • Prepare and submit Friday Email article, if needed.

April
  • Submit list of active committee members to FACC President.
  • Prepare sample ballot and instructions for voting if necessary.
  • Forward ballot to FACC staff at least 45 days prior to annual Summer Conference and Academy.

May
  • Prepare and submit agenda item for June meeting.

June
  • Attend FACC Final Board meeting.
