Membership Committee Timelines

  • Attend FACC Annual Board Orientation Luncheon meeting held at the end of the annual Summer Conference and Academy for incoming Board Members and Committee Chairs.
  • Contact cities who are not members of FACC.
  • Prepare and submit a Friday Email article, if needed.

  • Notify Committee Members of appointments.
  • Organization meeting of committee to review goals and establish timeline.
  • Membership renewals mailed by FACC staff.

  • Monitor list of membership.

  • Obtain list of members who did not renew membership from FACC staff.
  • Coordinate with committee members to contact those that did not renew
  • Prepare and submit FACC Board agenda item for October meeting.
  • Prepare and submit a Friday Email article, if needed.

  • Attend FACC Board meeting.

  • Prepare and submit FACC Board agenda item.
  • Attend FACC Board meeting.
  • Compare IIMC and FACC memberships to find new members and ensure IIMC membership for certification.

  • Prepare agenda item for April Board meeting.
  • Submit list of active committee members to FACC President.
  • Prepare and submit By-Laws/Manual Revisions recommendations to By-Laws/Manual Revisions Committee Chair.
  • Attend FACC Board meeting.

  • Provide membership information to appropriate District Director.
  • Prepare and submit FACC Board agenda item for June meeting.

  • Attend FACC Final Board meeting.
  • Provide a detailed briefing for the new Chair.
  • Prepare and submit a Friday Email article, if needed.

  • Hold a wrap-up meeting to evaluate the accomplishments, disappointments and recommendations for changes, if any.
  • Committee agenda items should include renewal information.
