The John Scott Dailey Florida Institute of Government and the Florida Association of City Clerks (FACC) are committed to advancing the professional growth and effectiveness of Municipal Clerks across Florida. The Florida Certified Professional Clerk (FCPC) Program was developed to support ongoing learning, strategic thinking, and professional networking within the profession. Recognizing the unique legal, political, and operational environment of Florida’s local governments, the program emphasizes systems thinking, organizational effectiveness, and the ability to navigate complex governmental relationships and processes. The program reflects a shared commitment to equipping Municipal Clerks with the knowledge, skills, and perspective needed to support sound governance, contribute to organizational strategy, and enhance service to Florida’s communities.
